Factor x^2 + 5x -36
Find two numbers their product will be -36 when you add those two numbers together your sum will be 5
-4(9) = -36
-4 + 9 = 5
So
(X-4)(x+9)
X-4= 0
X= 4
X+9=0
X= -9
The x-intercept are (4,0) and (-9,0)
Hope this helps!
