Earth is in a place called the Goldilocks zone. If humans were not in this zone, it would be nearly impossible to survive. The Goldilocks zone is not too much of anything. For example, if we were on the planet Mercury or Venus, we could not survive because it is way too hot during the day time and very cold during the nighttime. We have it not to sunny here and not too cold. Without the sun, plants would not grow. Animals, including humans , need plants to eat. We also have not too much sun so the water on our Earth does not all evaporate.
