Answer:

although, yes, it is important for the parents to talk to their kids, buuuut, it's also good and healthier to give them some space to discover the world on their own, I remember sometimes i would have some trouble in my social life when i was in elementary- half of middle school, because i had no one to guide me through it, because i was alone with my mom, and she only spoke Spanish, but when my step-dad came along, he would just bring up topics about my social life out of nowhere, like i would be just sitting there and he'd come up and just go "what's goin on Brra" cos he said "isn't that how u guys talk nowadays" although he was just mocking millennial's most of the time, some of his advice made sense to me, like, he would say like "why don't you go talk to those kids over there" and if i didn't know what to say, he would tell me, step by step what to do, but sometimes he would come out of nowhere, and say, "lets go get you a girl" when in all sincerity, i wouldn't take relationship advice from him cos of that, but although a man with experience would be the right person to go to when it comes to advice, sometimes he would over do it, and just jump into my personal life when i have total control of the situation

In order to succeed later in life, you need to be taught the basic principles of such topics from a very young age. This way, it's important that you're parents tell you how such develop or work, so that you won't feel afraid and not at a disadvantage when later exposed to such a issue. It also helps children, by simplifying the world around them.

Hope this helps!
