I need to simplify

Answer:

3m - 15 + m

Explanation:

Multiply (m - 5) by 3.

m * 3 = 3m

-5 * 3 = -15

This doesn't apply with +m.

So this leaves it as 3m - 15 + m.

First you must distribute the 3 to the numbers in the parentheses

(3*m) + (3 * -5) + m

3m + (-15) + m

3m - 15 + m

Combine like terms (3m and m)

4m - 15
