Every 0.5 hours the cars travels 25 miles so 3.0-2.5=0.5 therefore 125+25=150

125/2.5=50 so since the car is moving at a rate of 50mph, in 3 hours the car will have traveled 150 miles not taking into consideration other factors.
Answer=150miles
