However, in the attached graph we have the function.

The minimum value of a function is the lowest value of the variable y that the function can reach.

Observe in the graph that the function is periodic and reaches its maximum value at
y = 2 and its minimum value at
y = -2

Therefore the minimum value would be
y = -2
