The equation:
-2(x+3)=-2x-6, is simplified with distribution of parentheses:
-2x-6=-2x-6.

Now add
2x to both sides and get:
-6=-6.

The numbers are equal therefore the solution to the equation
x can be any number
x\in\mathbb{R}.
