Explanation:

HERE,

\bold{(AB)^2+(BC)^2=(AC)^2 }

According to the question,

\tt{x^2+6^2=(√(117))^2 }

\tt{x^2+36=117 }

\tt{ x^2=117-36 }

\tt{x^2=81 }

\tt{x=√(81) }

\tt{x=9~or~x=-9 }

As,length doesn't be minus

so,

x=9

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a^2 = 6^2 + √117^2

a^2 + 36 = 117

a^2 = 117 - 36

a^2 = 81

a = √81

a = 9

x = 9
