cos(θ) = (adjacent cathetus)/hypotenuse

sin(θ) = (opposite cathetus)/hypotenuse

tan(θ) = (opposite cathetus)/(adjacent cathetus)

Here we have the adjacent cathetus = 18in, and the hypotenuse = 60in.

Sowe can use the cosine relation:

Cos(L) = 18in/60in = 0.3

Acos(cos(L)) = L = Acos(0.3) = 1.266

We want to round it to the nearest hundredth, so we would have:

L = 1.27 radians.
