Answer:

1st side = 21ft

2nd side = 15ft

3rd side = 16ft

Explanation:

P = 52

side a = 6 + b

side c = 1 + b

side b = b

P = a + b + c

52 = 6 + b + b + 1 + b

52 = 3b + 7

-7 -7

45 = 3b

/3 /3

15 = b

plug 15 into each equation for side a and side c

a = 21 ; b = 15; c = 16; P = 52

Answer The length of first side = 21 feet

The length of second side = 15 feet

The length of third side = 16 feet.

Explanation:

Let x represents the second sides of the triangle.

Then, the first side of the triangle will be 6+x and the third sides will be 1+x.

Since, the perimeter of a triangle is 52 feet., then have

x+6+x+1+x=52\\\\\Rightarrow\ 3x+7=52

Subtract 7 from both the sides , we get

3x=45

Divide both sides by 5, we get

x=15

Now, the length of first side = 15+6=21 feet

The length of second side = 15 feet

The length of third side = 15+1 =16 feet.
