Explanation:

I guess the question is saying x+y = 7 and 3x-2y = 11?

then there are multiple ways but

I will multiply the first one by 2 so 2x+2y = 14

you add the equations to get 5x = 25 so x = 5 plug x into the first equation you get y = 2

if that isn't what the question means just comment and I'll change it
