Solution

Area of a square=100 cm²

Now, the area of a circle= l²

  • 100= l²

l² = 100

squareroot l²=squareroot 10²

squareroot and cancel on both side

l= 10cm

Again

the length of a diagonal= squareroot 2 ×l

= squareroot 2× 10

= 10 squareroot 2 cm
