Explanation:

Remember to use Rise/Run

1) Find your starting points

I used (-3,2) and (1,4)

2) After finding your points determine if the line is positive or negative

It is positive because it is going up

3) Now go to your first point in this case (-3,2) and count up (rise) until you are even with your second point (1,4) after that you go to the right (run) until you get to your second point (1,4)

4) how many spaces did you go up (rise) which will be your first number in your slope and how many did you go right (run) which will be your second number
