Answer 45m2
Area Of Triangle = BasexHeight÷2
Area of Rectangle = LengthxHeight
each triangle adds up to 7.5 because 3x5÷2
But since theres two triangles it adds up to 15
The rectangle is 3x10 which is 30
Add both digits up and u get 45.

Answer:

b. 30 m²

Explanation:

find the area of the rectangle and triangle first

area of rectangle = length x height

aR = 10 x 6

aR = 60

area of triangle = base x height x 1/2

aT = 10 x 3 x 1/2

aT = 30

now, to find the area of the shaded area subtract the triangle from the rectangle

area = rectangle - triangle

a = 60 - 30

a = 30
