if humans can live in almost any natural environment on earth, why cant we live on other planets such as mars.​

It isn't too cold or too hot.Gravity on Mars is 38% that of our Earth's, which is believed by many to be sufficient for the human body to adapt to.Mars's atmosphere consists mostly of carbon dioxide, an essential gas for plant survival, and Martian soil has the essential nutrients plants need to survive. But because the availability of these nutrients may vary depending on where astronauts land, the soil may need to be fertilized. We would need to live a life sustaining house with air, and self sustaining water and food.
