Answer:

x = -5,-1

Explanation:

6=3(x+3)^2-6

Add 6 to each side

6+6=3(x+3)^2-6+6

12 =3(x+3)^2

Divide each side by 3

12/3 = 3/3(x+3)^2

4 = (x+3)^2

Take the square root of each side

sqrt(4) = sqrt((x+3)^2)

±2 = x+3

Separate into 2 equations

2 = x+3 -2 = x+3

Subtract 3 from each side

2-3 =x+3-3 -2-3 = x+3-3

-1 =x -5 =x
