First find out the ares of the square

10×10

Square Area = 100

Next, find the length of the sides of the triangle

16-10= 6

10-6= 4

Multiple the sides of the triangle a divide by two

6×4

24

24÷2

12

Add both the area of the square and triangle together

100+12

112

The area of the figure is 112
