If (4/5)x = 2/5, multiplying both sides by (5/4) will isolate x:

So we know nothing about blank so we can infer that’s our X in this case

So 4/5x=2/5 do inverse multiplication for 4/5 to get rid of it from the left side so you’re left with

X=5/4*2/5 just multiply across and you get 10/20 now simplify

1/2
