There are 3 power theorems. Chord chord theorem, tangent secant theorem and secant secant theorem.

Since your diagram contains 2 intersecting cords of a circle, we're gonna have to use the chord chord theorem

Say chord AB of a circle intersects with chord CD of the same circle at O. Then the chord chord theorem states that AO×OB = CO×CD.

So in your diagram, according to the chord chord theorem,

6×1 = 2×x

2x = 6

2x/2 = 6/2 ( divide both sides by 2 to single out x in the LHS)

Then we have x = 3!!!
