Answer:

1.

x=-10

x=-6

2.

x=10

x=-3

Explanation:

to find the zeros of a function you need to set it equal to zero:

x^2+16x+60=0

then you factor

(x+10)(x+6)=0

then you have to finish factoring/simplifying

x+10=0

-10

x=-10

x+6=0

-6

x=-6

and the same thing for number 2

x^2-7x-30=0

(x-10)(x-3)=0

x=10, x=3

Answer:

1.) x = -10, x = - 6

2.) x = 10, x = -3

Explanation:

1.) factorize and set the equation to zero by multiplying a and c and finding factors of it that will result in b once added/subtracted

x^2+16x+60\\(x+10)(x+6)\\(x+10)(x+6)=0\\x=-10, x=-6

2.) do the same for number 2:

x^2-7x-30\\(x-10)(x+3)\\(x-10)(x+3)=0\\x = 10, x = -3

i hope this helped!
