According to the information in the chart, The colonies had few advantages in the war with England. In fact, they had only one advantage, which was familiarity with the land. In every other aspect such as population, wealth, technology and military formation the colonies were far inferior and this represented some serious difficulty for them. Despite of this fact, the colonies eventually achieved independence from Britain on the 4th of July, 1776.
