Explanation:

Total no of students = 24

No of boys in the class is 8

So in fraction form

Boys = 8 out of 24 which is 8/24 or simply 1/3

Now

For girls

no of girls will be Total students - boys students

Number of girls students = 24 - 8 = 16

In fraction form we can write 16/24 or simply 2/3
