whenever u see f(4) it is telling you that whenever you see an x you would replace it with a 4 so you start substituting the x for 4's or replacing them (same thing XD) 4^3+4^2-4 4 times 4 times 4 = 64 + 4 times 4 = 16

64 + 16 - 4 = 76
