So I'm writing a spanish journal entry about going to the biggest shopping mall in Buenos Aires. Does this sentence make sense?

Soy ir en los abasta shopping Buenos Aires.

Or should I use estoy intstead of soy?

I think you should use “estoy”.

You should use estoy. The verb ser and estoy both mean “to be”, but estoy is to indicate location or feelings while ser is used to say who you are and your personal traits, Estoy ir should be used to say “I am going.”
