Formula for volume of cone:

1/3
\pi r^2*h

Substitute the values in:

1/3
\pi (2)^2*9

Leave it in terms of pi:

volume of the cone = 12
\pi

A hemisphere is half of a sphere so we use the formula for volume of a sphere and halve it.

volume of hemisphere = (4/3
\pi r^3) / 2

Substitute the values in:

(4/3
\pi (2)^3) / 2

Leave it in terms of pi:

volume of the hemisphere = 16/3
\pi

Now add the two volumes together:

12
\pi + 16/3
\pi = 52/3
\pi

The two answers would be : 52/3
\pi cm^3 and 54 cm^3

Hope This Helps You!

Good Luck (:
