Okay so as you should know, the structure of a linear equation is y = mx + b.

B is the y-intercept

so the first thing to do is mark the coordinates (0,1) as the y-intercept

Now the slope is 1/4 x

this is also known as rise/run

A simpler way to do that is from (0,1) move up 1 and over four and place a point there

The coordinate should be (4,1)

Then draw a line through the two points

1/4 is the slope and 1 is the y intercept. Start at 1 unit above 0 on the y axis and then from there you graph points going 1 unit up and 4 to the right
