Explanation:

Convert the equation to the slope-intercept form (y = mx + b):

5x-4y=-18 subtract 5x from both sides

-4y=-5x-18 divide both sides by (-4)

y=(5)/(4)x+(18)/(4)

Choose any three values of x and calculate the values od y:

for x = -2:

y=(5)/(4)(-2)+(18)/(4)=(-10)/(4)+(18)/(4)=(8)/(4)=2\to(-2,\ 2)

for x = -6

y=(5)/(4)(-6)+(18)/(4)=-(30)/(4)+(18)/(4)=-(12)/(4)=-3\to(-6,\ -3)

for x = 2:

y=(5)/(4)(2)+(18)/(4)=(10)/(4)+(18)/(4)=(28)/(4)=7\to(2,\ 7)
