Aboriginal society remained mostly unchanged until Europeans arrived in Australia in the 1600's.

It wasn't until the arrival of Europeans (on any continent) did the native people begin to change, taking on and adopting European forms of society.

Answer:

diverse

Step-by-step explanation:

Before colonization of European in the 1600s, there are a diverse group of aboriginal living on Australia land. The aboriginal live in small community group and their life are dependent on hunting and food gathering.

It is until the arrival of European, the aboriginal lost their lands from the European and they were exposed to diseases which caused the death of a large number of them. Only small percentage of aboriginal survive after the colonization.
