It is unknown where in the brain dreams originate, if there is a single origin for dreams or if multiple portions of the brain are involved, or what the purpose of dreaming is for the body and mind. During R.E.M. sleep, the release of the neurotransmitters nor epinephrine, serotonin and histamine is completely suppressed. They can occur in both adults and children. this happens to everyone and yes about you have wings and with out every has that dream in there life time. But some people don't dream at all.
