A scientist observes the bacteria’s growth. In the first observation, there were 12 bacteria, 24 in the second observation, 48 in the third and so on. How many bacteria will be there in the 8th observation? Use the explicit formula.

Step-by-step explanation:96 in the fourth since they are adding the answer itself two times before you get the other like 12 bacteria and then 24 so that means 12 + 12 is 24 and the third one 48 so 24 +24 =48

fourth 48 + 48=96

fifth 96+96=192

sixth 192+192=384

seventh 384+384=768

last but not least 768+768 = 1536

so your answer is 1,536
