For the 1st one.

Echo means reflection of sound. Therefore the answer is a person looking in the mirror (as this is the only answer that does not hav refraction)
And for part 2
The sound was absorbed by the yellow material.

Answer:

1. Option A person looking in the mirror

2. The sound wave was absorbed by the yellow material on the wall.

Step-by-step explanation:

Thinking process:

The properties of light and sound are the same in some respects. For example, sound waves are reflected back to the source. Similarly, light waves are also reflected back to the original source. The refection of light on a smooth surface results in the mirror image being formed in the image.

The padding on the wall results in the waves being absorbed by the wall. This results in the sound waves being absorbed by the walls to reduce reverberation that might cause noise.
