Explanation:

In this picture the two lines are intersecting each other at point. Measurement of one angle is 112° and opposite angle of 112° is (7x+7)

Since we know opposite angles are always equal

Therefore 112 = 7x + 7

7x = 112 - 7 = 105

7x = 105

x = 105/7 = 15

Since (7x + 7) + 4y = 180° (sum of all angles on a line is 180°)

7×15 + 7 + 4y = 180

105 + 7 + 4y = 180

4y = 180 - 112= 68

y = 68/4 = 17

Therefore Option b is the right option.
