Answer:

The equation is 6x + 5y - 9 = 0

Explanation:

∵ The line parallel to the line 6x + 5y = 29

∴ their slopes are equal

∵ The slope of the first line is -coefficient x / coefficient y

∴ the slope = -6/5

∴ The slope of the second line is -6/5

∵ the form of the equation is y - y1 = m (x - x1) and point (x1 , y1) is (9 , -9)

∴ y - (-9) = -6/5 (x - 9)

∴ y + 9 = -6/5 x + 54/5

∴ y + 6/5 x = 54/5 - 9⇒Multiply the equation by 5

∴ 5y + 6x = 54 - 45

∴ 5y + 6x = 9

∴ 6x + 5y = 9

∴ The equation is 6x + 5y - 9 = 0
