Answer:

New length = 10cm

New volume = 1000 cm^3

New surface area = 600 cm^2

Explanation:

The scale factor is 2

We know the length will be increased by the scale factor

length * scale factor

5cm *2 = 10cm

The new length is 10 cm

The volume will be increased by scale factor cubed

The volume was

V = s^3 = 5^3 = 125 cm^3

V * scale factor

125 * 2^3 = 125 *8 =1000 cm^3

The new volume is 1000cm^3

The surface are is increase by scale factor squared

The surface area was

SA = 6 * s^2

SA = 6*5^2 = 6*25 = 150 cm^2

SA * scale factor

150cm^2 * 2^2

150*4 = 600 cm^2
