The nurse needs to inform the patient that the reason she is developing facial hair is that the drug she is taking contains a hormone that causes male characteristics. It is an unfortunate side effect of the drug but as she needs the cortisone for her main health concerns it is unavoidable. She can also inform her that there are ways to keep the facial hair under control by recommending some products to use to help.
