How was the Jewish religion different from religions of other ancient cultures

It only had one god and there were alot of rules

Back in the "ancient" world, Judaism was different from other religions in that it was considered a monotheistic religion, because Jewish people only believed in one god (Abraham). This was hundreds of years before Islam..
