What is the inverse of the function f(x)=3cube

Inverse does not exist.

Explanation:

Given is a function


f(x)=3^3

We are asked to find an inverse for this function.

On analysing the function, we find that for all values of x,

y is a constant.

In other words, this is nothing but a constant function which is a horizontal line parallel to x axis.

This is not onto, because range of this funciton is only the value {3^3}

Inverse exists only for one to one and onto funcitons.

Since this function is one to one but not onto, inverse does not exist.
