I have a glass screen on my computer, and I know glass comes from sand. The keyboard has plastic buttons, and plastics are generally produced from fossil fuels. Also, the internal wiring is probably made of copper. Right now, my computer is plugged into the wall, which means that I am using electricity to power it. Electricity comes from fossil fuels or other natural forms of energy.

Oil, coal, natural gas, metals, stone and sand are natural resources. Other natural resources are air, sunlight, soil and water. ... Natural resources also are the raw materials for making products that we use everyday from our toothbrush and lunch box to our clothes, cars, televisions, computers and refrigerators.
