Read the following excerpt from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense. Which of the following is the BEST PARAPHRASE of the passage above? A. Mr. and Mrs. Dursley were absolutely normal and did not like anything weird. B. Mr. and Mrs. Dursely lived at number four, Privet Drive, and were proud of being absolutely normal. The couple were so normal that nobody would expect them to be involved in anything odd or weird. Besides, they thought strange things were just nonsense. C. They did not like anything abnormal. D. Mr. and Mrs. Dursley were the aunt and uncle of Harry Potter, a fact that he would soon learn to despise.

The best answer I see here for you is B.

My reasoning behind this is that with paraphrasing, you want to make sure it has the same message, but does NOT, I repeat does NOT say the exact same things. Paraphrasing can still give the same details, as long as you aren't practically saying it word for word.

A: This is knocked out due to the fact that it doesn't have any spice to it, neither anything about the beginning.

C: This is WAY to short and barely describes anything!

D: ... This isn't even the right information...

Hope you got it right! ~Chaos
