What is the name of a threadlike structure of dna that carries genes?

The answer would be chromosomes

I'm pretty sure your answer should be Chromosomes. (In the nucleus of each cell, the DNA molecule is packaged into thread-like structures called chromosomes.) Hope this helps! =^-^=
