Answer:

g(f(4)) = 9

Explanation:

We have given two function.

f(x) = x-7 and g(x) = x²

Firstly, We have to find then substitute x = 4 to find g(f(4)).

g(f(x)) = g(x-7)

Replace x with x-7 in g(x).

g(f(x)) = (x-7)²

putting x = 4 in above equation ,we get

g(f(4)) = (4-7)²

g(f(4)) =(-3)² = 9

g(f(4)) = 9 which is the answer.

Answer:

value of
g(f(4)) is 9

Explanation:

Given the function:

f(x) = x-7 and
g(x) = x^2

We have to find the value of
g(f(4))

g(f(x)) = g(x-7)

replace x with x-7 in g(x) we have;

g(f(x)) = g(x-7) = (x-7)^2

Put the value of x =4 we get;

g(f(4)) = (4-7)^2 = (-3)^2 = 9

Therefore, the value of
g(f(4)) is 9
