Answer:

Explanation:

Find the common denominator first

10,20,30,40,50 (10 is the biggest common denominator for both numbers)

5,10,15,20,25(Both sides the same denominator which is 10)

Now multiply 2/5 x 2 = 4/10 (multiply both sides with 2 since 2 x 5=10 which is the common denominator)

We leave 3/10 alone since there is no need to change it if it already has as 10 as the denominator

Add 4/10 + 3/10= 7/10
