There are 6 sides of cube.All the sides are same.

hence,find the area of one side and the surface area of cube is product of area of all sides and 6.

let l is the length of one side.

Area of one side = l²

surface area of cube= 6l²

In question statement,we have given that

length= l= 2 m

Putting the given values in formula,we get

Surface area of cube= 6 (2)²

Surface area of cube= 6(4)

Surface area of cube = 24 m²

Surface area of cube is 24 m².
