1. How did the Miller-Urey experiment impact the way scientists think about the origins of life?

*** it impacted life in many ways for the water and land life but in order for it to work they needed things that would've worked the right way provided the time they tried and that organic molecules needed things for the life could be formed they had questions and theory just like any other science experiment so that it wouldn't fail

2. Use what you know about the Miller-Urey experiment to discuss the factors needed for life to arise, and speculate on whether life could arise on another planet.

no for that last one i have no idea what to put ? : /

The Miller-Urey experiment showed that simple molecules could have arisen abiotically. This chemical experiment included conditions similar to those present on the early Earth, and tested the origin of life under those conditions.

Water (H2O), methane (CH4), ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen (H2) were the chemicals used to produce the results of the experiment, the factors needed for simple life to arise. Given similar conditions on other planets, it's possible that life could arise there as well.
