Plasma is composed of 92% of water, 7% of the dissolved proteins while the rest 1% accounts for the dissolved organic molecules.

These organic molecules include:

  • Amino acids
  • Nitrogenous wastes
  • Glucose, lipids
  • Ions (Na, H, Cl)
  • vitamins
  • Other wastes such as Urea, lactic acid.
