an object is launched with an initial velocity of 50.0 m/s at a launch angle of 36.9 degress above the horizontal. make a table showing vaules of x, y, vx,vy and the speed of v every 1 s from t = 0s to t = 6s

As we know that initial speed of projection is given as


v_i = 50 m/s

angle of projection is given as


\theta = 36.9 degree

now we have


v_(ix) = 50 cos36.9 = 40 m/s


v_(iy) = 50 sin36.9 = 30 m/s

now we will have


a_x = 0 m/s^2


a_y = -10.0 m/s^2

so here at all time instant speed in x direction remains the same


v_x = 40 m/s

while in y direction we will have


v_y = v_(iy) + at


v_y = 30 - 10 t

now between t = 0 to t = 6 s we have


v_y = 30 m/s, v_y = 20 m/s, v_y = 10 m/s, v_y = 0 m/s, v_y = -10 m/s, v_y = -20 m/s, v_y = -30 m/s

now we have


x = v_x t


x = 40 t

now between t = 0 to t = 6 s we have


x = 0, x = 40 m, x = 80 m, x = 120 m, x = 160 m, x = 200 m, x=240 m

Now for y component we have


y = v_(iy) t + (1)/(2)at^2


y = 30(t) - 5 t^2


y = 0 m, y = 25 m, y = 40 m, y = 45 m, y = 40 m, y = 25 m, y = 0
