Explanation: Using ideal gas equation:

PV = nRT


n=(PV)/(TR)

P= pressure =500 kPa=4.93 atm [1 kPa= 0.009atm]

V= volume =3 L

n = no of moles = ?

R= gas constant =0.0821 Latm\molK

T= temperature = 310K


n=(4.93* 3)/(310* 0.0821)=0.58moles
