The Old Testament is a set of books, prophecy, songs, rules, laws. It consists of Moses' five books, Torah, which is the basis for all subsequent records relating to prophecies, rues and ways of life. In all the prophetic books of the Old Testament prophets and even the New Testament, the events from Torah mention, not only that. The Old Testament contains historical facts as well as eschatological concepts and perceptions. There are also poems, sorceries, and so on. According to Duvall and Hayes who dealt with the Old Testament, more than a third were written in the form of poetry.
