Article I of the U.S. Constitution is about the legislative branch: their duties, limitations, the process by which they make laws and the election of the members of the Senate and the House of Representative.

The article gives power to the states and the people to elect those members, it holds that each of the states legislatures have the power to choose two Senators, which will serve for six years, and the House of Representatives will consist of Representatives chosen every second year by the people of each state.
