Answer:

A = 60

B = 30

Explanation:

Complementary angles add to 90 degrees

A = 2B A is twice the measure of B

A + B =90 Complementary angles add to 90 degrees

Substitute the first equation in for the second

A+B =90

2B+B=90

Combine like terms

3B = 90

Divide by 3

3B/3 = 90/3

B = 30

A = 2B

A = 2*30

A = 60
